Grocery Clerk (Finance)

  • Check product quality and review "sell by" dates.
  • Provide customers with ordered grocery products.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies to the department manager.
  • Stay current with ads and promotions.
  • Follow all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
  • Gain product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
  • Perform preventive equipment inspections and notify management of repairs.
  • Report accidents promptly.
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflict professionally.
  • Act with honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
  • Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
