Responsibilities

• Help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of food specials and recommend grocery items.
• Check product quality for freshness and review "sell by" dates.
• Provide customers with ordered grocery products.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping to management.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures, logging as required.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to customer questions and suggestions.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts appropriately.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Support and assist diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
