Key Responsibilities:
- Inform customers of specials and recommend products to meet their needs.
- Check product quality, review 'sell by' dates, and take appropriate action.
- Provide customers with ordered products, both fresh and non-perishable.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
- Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
- Maintain knowledge of products and assist customers with questions and suggestions.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and participate in preventive maintenance.
- Notify management of accidents or repairs needed.
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
- Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
