Job summary

El Super #10 in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Checker to join our Store Operations Team. You will ensure excellent customer service, process sales quickly and accurately, and operate the cash register while safeguarding assets.

The role requires physical activity such as bending, standing, and occasional heavy lifting. Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, you will contribute to a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
