Job summary

Food Lion Store in Garner, NC is seeking a Store Associate to provide quality customer service in the Grocery Center. You will help maintain standards, maximize sales through friendly service, and minimize shrink through adherence to our standard practices.

The role requires the ability to learn multiple tasks, follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines, and work well with teammates. You will wear the Food Lion uniform and complete required CBT and training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Clean shelves and shelf tag moldings while stocking.
• Stock from tag to tag to maintain shelf allocations.
• Place only saleable merchandise on shelves.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying follow policies.
• Understand and use Food Lion tools like ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to company guidelines and standard practices.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Report accidents per Food Lion procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge and keep a neat appearance.
• Complete CBT and training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Use computers and other communication systems; perform repetitive hand and arm motions; lift up to 50 lbs; stand long hours.
