Job summary

Food Lion is seeking team members at our Garner, NC store to provide quality customer service within the Center Store (Grocery) Department. You will help maintain standards, maximize sales through excellent service, and minimize shrink by following standard practices.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking, ensuring proper pricing and display, and adhering to safety guidelines. Training is provided via CBT and store programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Stock shelves and keep shelf tag moldings clean.
• Ensure saleable merchandise is on shelves and properly displayed.
• Follow policies for ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise.
• Understand and follow Food Lion guidelines and safety procedures.
