Job summary

Food Lion is hiring for a Center Store (Grocery) associate in South Hill, VA. You will deliver warm, efficient customer service while maintaining shelves, pricing, and displays. You’ll follow company standards and safety guidelines to ensure a clean, organized shopping environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers and teammates, stocking shelves, using ACIS and CAO tools, and adhering to Food Lion policies. A high school diploma and physical ability are preferred requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Keep shelves clean and maintain shelf tag moldings when stocking.
• Stock from tag to tag and ensure saleable merchandise is on the shelves.
• Follow policies for ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Report any accidents and comply with local, state and federal regulations.
