Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Store Associate in Salisbury, NC to provide fast, friendly customer service in the Center Store department. You will maintain shelves, stock from tag to tag, and ensure saleable merchandise while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to learn multiple tasks, and the physical capacity to perform duties, including lifting and standing long hours. Training and CBT completion are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain shelves and shelf tag moldings; stock from tag to tag and ensure saleable merchandise.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report accidents per procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Wear the uniform with name badge and follow dress code; complete CBT and training packets.
• Operate cash register and related equipment as applicable; perform other duties as assigned.
