Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring at our Longview-area stores. This role handles customer transactions, bags groceries, and delivers friendly service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.

Applicants should be comfortable with cash handling, follow policies for tender and promotions, and be available for flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Aimed at 16+ with on-the-job training and potential certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 with eligibility to work.
• TABC/LACT certification where applicable.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate money count in the cash register.
• Learn product codes and stay familiar with ads and specials.
• Follow tender policies for checks, credit, debit, coupons, EBT, WIC, AML.
• Greet customers and help locate and promote products.
• Promote enrollment in the Thank You Card program.
• Bag groceries properly and prevent cross-contamination.
• Adhere to safety, cleanliness and company procedures.
