Dierbergs Markets, Inc. is seeking a part-time Grocery Cart Attendant to help keep the store functioning smoothly. You will retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot, assist customers by loading groceries into their vehicles, and maintain clean aisles and checkout areas.

The role requires physical stamina, outdoor work in varying weather, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Weekly pay, potential for growth, and supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and retrieve carts from outside
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsabilités

• Retrieve carts from the parking lot using a cart strap and safety vest
• Assist in loading purchases into customers' vehicles
• Remove debris from carts, floor and parking lot
• Distribute hand baskets around the store
• Return misplaced items to proper locations and maintain aisle conditions
• Keep check lanes organized and stocked with bags
• Sweep and mop floors when maintenance is unavailable
• Assist cashiers with change requests and cash turns-ins
• Load carpet cleaning equipment and assist customers as needed
• Ensure proper bagging and load quality for customers' purchases
• Stock advertisements
