Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag and prevent damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assist in removing items from bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and collect bascarts.
• Clean spills, trash, and maintain store and parking lot cleanliness.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and perform price checks.
• Adhere to safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow local, state, federal laws and company guidelines.
• Provide friendly, cooperative service to minors, special needs, and older adults.
