Qualifications

• Minimum Position Qualifications: Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers and ensure items are not damaged.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts for return.
• Clean spills and trash inside store and in parking lot, maintain store cleanliness.
• Understand store layout, locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions, then notify management.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines; follow directions and seek assistance as needed.
