Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger for our Yakima, WA area store. This role focuses on providing an outstanding customer experience by bagging groceries, assisting customers, and maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

You will follow safety procedures, help with loading bags into cars, and support overall store operations while offering excellent customer service and product knowledge. This position is part of Store Operations.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willing to assist customers and maintain store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Assist in loading bags into customers' cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and price checks for cashiers.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves.
• Collect shopping carts and return to designated areas.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout and locate products.
