Qualifications

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bagging groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive for at least five items in the bag without damage.
• Assist in removing merchandise from the bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills, pick up trash inside store and parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Comply with safety procedures and notify management of unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify manager of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all local and state laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflict in a nonconfrontational manner.
• Act honestly regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance as needed.
• Provide assistance to minors and individuals with special needs.
• Must perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
