Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment. You will bag groceries, assist with loading, and inform customers of specials, while following safety and food handling guidelines.

Ideal candidates are reliable, with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and part-time opportunities are available across Sugar Land, TX.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Applications are continuously accepted and reviewed as roles become available.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with reusable/plastic/paper bags.
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Maintain clean and safe store environment.
• Support store operations by performing basic tasks as needed.
