Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at our Palmdale, CA store. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading bags, and help keep the store clean and organized. The role supports safe, friendly service and adherence to company policies.

This on-site position offers opportunities to learn the store layout, identify products, and participate in promotional activities while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and ensure items are not damaged.
• Assist customers with loading bags into their car when needed.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking of merchandise.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and locate products in-store.
• Maintain cleanliness of store and parking lot, including picking up trash.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist in price checks for cashiers.
