Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a courteous Clerk/Grocery Bagger to create an outstanding customer experience. You will bag groceries, help customers, and maintain a safe, clean store environment to encourage repeat visits.

Essential duties include bagging, assisting with loading, price checks, and following safety and food regulation guidelines. A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced setting are required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag and ensure items are not damaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging with various bag types.
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and in the parking lot.
