Job summary

Kroger in Yuma, AZ is seeking a friendly Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to help deliver outstanding customer service at checkout and in-store areas. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading, and keep shelves and aisles tidy and safe.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow safety procedures, and help customers across a range of store duties. On-site location with opportunities to grow within Kroger.

Qualifications

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout
• Help customers load bags into their car
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and stock checks
• Inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to shelves
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas
• Clean spills and remove trash inside store and parking lot
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and outside the store
• Understand store layout, locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
• Reinforce safety programs and notify management of unsafe conditions or accidents
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
• Inspect equipment and report items needing repair
• Provide assistance to customers including minors, seniors, and individuals with special needs
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments
