Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
• Keep store and parking lot clean; report spills and trash.
• Understand store layout and locate products; perform price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions.
