Fresco y Mas is seeking a Grocery Associate to join our retail grocery team. You will greet customers, offer product suggestions, stock and rotate departments, and ensure freshness and efficient restocking.

The role emphasizes courteous service, adherence to policies, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Experience with basic English communication and integrity is valued; mandatory background checks and drug testing apply.

Qualifications

• Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• High standard of integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous attention to customer needs; greet, assist and thank customers in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner.
• Offer product suggestions when appropriate.
• Stock and rotate department (grocery, general merchandise, dairy and frozen food areas) products to ensure freshness and date control; restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost.
• Operate department equipment and tools.
• Assist with receiving vendor merchandise.
• Unload truck deliveries promptly.
• Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized mark-downs, property defacement or any action that is illegal and/or against company policy.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
