Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required for deliveries.
• A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment.
• A liquor license required prior to first day of work (If applicable).
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a food service, retail, and/or grocery store setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision of the activities of all departments in an operationally effective, motivating and respectful manner.
• Promote a positive team atmosphere with cooperation, high morale and good interpersonal communications.
• Coach, take corrective actions, and perform evaluations to improve performance.
• Address employee relations issues and work with HR to resolve them.
• Hire high quality candidates through effective interviewing.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and involve the District Manager when needed.
• Know and implement Cosentino Customer Service Standards.
• Manage labor costs while balancing service needs with expenditures.
• Monitor department quality and productivity, and merchandise new items and weekly specials.
