Job Title: Grocery Third Shift Stocker

FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Reports To: Grocery Manager

Are you interested in overnight work? As a Grocery Third Shift Stocker, you'll ensure shelves are stocked and ready for guests each morning. Your tasks include unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and maintaining store appearance. If you enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment and want to contribute to a well-stocked store, this role is ideal for you!

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Helpful Service: Offer excellent guest service, greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Stock Shelves: Replenish and organize products throughout the grocery department.
  • Rotate Inventory: Use FIFO method to ensure proper inventory rotation.
  • Assist Guests: Help guests locate products and answer their questions.
  • Operate Equipment: Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks after proper training.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and safe, address spills, and keep aisles clear.
  • Unload Deliveries: Efficiently unload and organize stock from deliveries.
  • Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Attend Regularly: Maintain punctuality and communicate absences in advance.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior retail, grocery stocking, warehouse, or overnight stocker experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to Detail & Communication: Strong organizational and guest service skills.
  • Equipment Readiness: Willingness to learn and operate relevant equipment safely.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Stand for long periods, bend, stoop, kneel regularly.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

Work Schedule:

Overnight shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with occasional schedule variations.
