Production Associate / Grinding Specialist

Caterpillar Mapleton Seals is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented person to join our team as a Grinding Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating grinding machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. This role includes salary starting at $23.22/hour with periodic wage increases, healthcare insurance, employee discount programs, free employee assistance program, and more. Depending on business requirements, normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Don't miss this opportunity! We also offer an additional $1.00/hour night shift premium for our 3rd shift employees!

Responsibilities

• Set up grinders and similar machinery
• Operate grinders to produce parts and components made to specific tolerances
• Adjust equipment as needed and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards
• Reading and understanding written directions

Required Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Additional Information

• Positions available on 2nd and 3rd shift
• 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday
• 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday night - Friday morning
• This position does not offer relocation
• This position requires no travel
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• Positions are supplemental full-time
