Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Grinding Operator is to grind bar stock to meet the customer requirements.

Primary job requirements and responsibilities are outlined below. Other duties may also be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload bars into the machine
• Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instruction
• Properly record all labor and production activities into ERP system
• Keeping area clean and organized
• Other duties assigned by management
  
  

Job Requirements

• On-the-job-training or previous machine shop experience preferred
• Ability to use measuring instruments: micrometers, and calipers
• Ability to perform simple math calculations and possess problem-solving skills
• Ability to make minor tool adjustments.
• Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
