Objectives of this Role
· Operate heavy equipment with the highest priority of achieving accuracy
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
· Must be able to operate heavy equipment proficiently and with minimal supervision once trained
· Interact with inspectors, DOT personnel, and Engineers as needed
· Communicate with operators or supervisor to ensure production runs smoothly
· Daily inspection of equipment
· Must be mechanically inclined & inspect and maintain equipment schedule
· Must be safety conscious in all conditions
· Wear P.P.E as required
Skills and Qualifications
· Class A Driver’s license with good driving record, complete inspections, logs and fuel reports
· Ability to make decisions in difficult conditions
· Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Requirements
- U.S. Work Authorization
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work overnight if the project necessitates
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Must be able to stand on concrete for long periods of time
- Ability to maneuver on or around equipment & be able to get under equipment to work on it
