Stolle Machinery Company, LLC. is seeking a Polisher for the 2nd shift in North Canton, Ohio. The role involves setting up and operating grinding and polishing tools on metal or plastic work pieces, including steel and carbide, with a 5:00pm–3:30am schedule Monday through Thursday.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and knowledge of arithmetic and machines/tools. A $2.00 shift differential applies with overtime after 8 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applications.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect or measure finished work pieces for conformance using gauges or micrometers.
• Set up, operate, or tend grinding and related tools to remove burrs or polish surfaces.
• Observe machine operations and adjust to correct problems.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, or machining instructions to determine specs.
• Mount and position tools in chucks, spindles, or tool holding devices using hand tools.
