Job summary

AHF Products seeks a Grinding Operator to safely operate grinding equipment during assigned shifts. You will monitor settings, inspect quality, and ensure materials are properly supplied while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe grinding room.

You will follow SOPs, work with the Shift Supervisor, and focus on accuracy, safety, and adherence to process specifications in a challenging industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with extrusion, plastics, SPC flooring, or PVC compounding preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and batch processes.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Experience operating industrial processing or grinding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Work safely around powders, chemicals, and mechanical equipment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, start up, and shut down grinding equipment per SOPs.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings with supervisor guidance.
• Inspect product quality for compliance with standards.
• Verify grinder has correct raw materials at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grinding room.
• Follow safety policies and maintain safe work practices.
