Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Material Handler at our North Brunswick Township, NJ facility. You will operate material handling equipment for grinders and feed parts into the grinder, maintaining a steady workflow.

Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds, stay safety- and quality-conscious, communicate well, and be able to work overtime. Our benefits start day one, with medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Safety and quality conscious.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent attendance – willing and able to work overtime.
• Good arithmetic and mechanical skills; familiar with a computer screen.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Desire to teach and learn in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment for grinders.
• Feed parts into the grinder at a constant pace.
• Unjam grinder/pulverizer when needed.
• Remove weather stripping from parts.
• Follow housekeeping practices.
• Process drop-off vinyl pieces to feed grinder.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
