Job summary

AZEK Exteriors is seeking a Grinder Operator to support grinding operations under the Dry Blend Manager. You will ensure product quality, proper material segregation, and accurate documentation in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to multi-task across safety, quality, and production tasks with a flexible schedule. Training and TRАK certification are part of the role, along with forklift operation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
• TRAK program certification requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment to produce quality product and ensure proper segregation.
• Inspect forklift and manage propane tanks; operate forklift safely.
• Verify material availability and monitor silo readings for daily production.
• Process material per procedure and document transfers and weights.
• Complete production paperwork and assist maintenance and PM activities.
• Perform additional duties as needed by supervision/management.

Hours: 6:45PM to 7AM 2/2/3!

Pay Rate: $21.50 an hour plus 10% shift differential!

This position is eligible for a $3,000 Bonus!

$1,500 at 3 Months!

$1,500 at 6 Months!

Job Summary

The Grinder Operator, under the direction of the Dry Blend Manager, is responsible for operating the grinding equipment to produce acceptable product quality and proper segregation of product. This team member will display a commitment to our values and operate in a manner that provides value to our team.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Contribute to accident-free operations and compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
• Inspect forklift daily, change propane tanks as needed, and safely operate forklift.
• Ensure correct material is available to process.
• Observe and document silo readings to ensure appropriate amount of material is available for daily production.
• Process material using the agreed procedure.
• Transport material to storage area or scrap area, as necessary.
• Collect samples and test against agreed upon specifications.
• Responsible for daily housekeeping in the grinding area.
• Weigh and document transfers of processed material.
• Complete production paperwork as required.
• Assist maintenance and Dry Blend Manager with PM activities.
• Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.

Qualifications, Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech's Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program.
• Forklift certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
