Job summary

Menasha Corporation's ORBIS division is hiring a Grinder Operator to operate the grinder and dump station, maintaining non-prime materials with safety and quality in mind.

You will support continuous improvement and occasionally fill in for other operators while helping to uphold a safe, team‑oriented work environment. This role offers growth opportunities within our packaging and supply chain businesses.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required.
• Conduct silo readings and melt flow tests per load of boxed regrind.
• Disassemble buy back products, identify and remove contaminants (metal, fiberglass, etc.) from all products that will be ground.
• Operate grinder and dump station.
• Counts and verifies regrind inventory, records grinding throughput.
• Hook up bulk trucks as required.
• Fill in for operators as needed.
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
