Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Missouri is seeking a Powered Equipment Operator to help move product throughout the facility, operating forklifts, jack lifts, and other powered industrial trucks. Certification during the qualification period is required and the role can be physically demanding.

You will contribute to a safe, efficient production line, support your coworkers, and help deliver high-quality food to families across America.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to perform tasks that require repetitive movement and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

These positions require meeting specific certification s during the qualification period . These positions can be physically demanding and require good hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail. Powered Equipment Operators must be able to work their scheduled shift and may be required to work overtime depending on production demands.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
