JOB TITLE: Grinder

DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

Job Summary

Initiate set-up, run, operate Grinder, Able to read and write weights, minimum troubleshoot of equipment, minimum computer skills (entering data). Collection of production data and production samples for statistical and quality programs. To ensure all activities are handled in accordance with Finlays Solutions mission, business philosophy, ethics, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and follow recipe(s).
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Communicate any issues to team lead or supervisor.
• Clean equipment after running daily.
• Gather and maintain required materials, Roasted beans, super sack, and liners.
• General housekeeping, removal of trash, clean work area, at start, during and end of the shift.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
  
  

KNOWLEDGE And QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written.
• Must be a team player, flexible and have good time management skills.
• Must be quality conscious and detail oriented.
• Must be able to work overtime or start earlier hours as needed.
• Mechanically inclined and understand the production process.
  
  

Education/Experience

• High school graduate or GED.
  
  

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Wet, Humid, and Hot.
• Able to stand, bend, and stretch while working on machine for up to 12 hrs.
• Able to relocate and/or lift, up to 75-pound boxes/bags.
• Moderate noise level.
