Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Grinder to process finished and label materials and support recycling by grinding plastics and placing regrind into reusable streams. The role requires operating a forklift, adhering to safety rules, and maintaining orderly work areas on site.

Responsibilities include following the daily production schedule, prioritizing tasks for efficiency, maintaining setup sheets, and recording changes and problems.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 35 pounds and perform repetitive motion.
• Able to follow safety rules and work safely.
• Must pass E-verify, physician’s examination, drug screen and background check.
• Willing to have a baseline audio metric test.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• No history of convictions for speeding or reckless driving.
• DOT drug test and physical exam pass required.

Job Description

The Grinder is responsible for grinding finished materials and label material as needed and specified.

Responsibilities

• Identify different types of plastic materials pails and lids to grind and place regrind into Gaylord for re-use
• Safely operate forklift and pallet jack
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Read and follow the daily production schedule and prioritize work for improved efficiency
• Maintain set-up sheets and record changes and problems that are encountered

Requirements

• Available for any shift.
• Able to lift 35 pounds.
• Work jobs that have repetitive motion.
• Implement and follow safe work practices and rules.
• Successfully pass E-verify, physician’s examination, drug screen and background check.
• Willing to have a baseline audio metric test
• Prefer high school graduate or GED
• Sufficient work experience to be successful on the job.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• No history of convictions for speeding tickets or reckless driving.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and physical exam

The pay range is $19.50/hour plus shift differential.
