Job summary

Snappy’s in Milesburg, PA is hiring a Grille Cook for a part-time role. You’ll prepare fresh items, serve customers, and help keep the grill area clean and organized.

Education: High School or GED; previous food service experience is welcome but not required. You’ll be trained, earn $14-$16 per hour with weekly pay, PTO, and employee discounts; a 401(k) plan is offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, restaurant or food service preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to prepare food accurately, manage multiple orders, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items accurately and efficiently, including made-to-order items.
• Provide friendly, helpful service and ensure a great customer experience.
• Keep the work area clean and organized; properly clean equipment and prep areas.
• Follow health and safety standards in food handling and storage.
• Restock supplies and keep the Grille ready to serve during shifts.

What You’ll Do:

As a Grille Cook, you’ll prepare fresh food for our customers while providing great service and keeping food quality and safety top of mind.

• Prepare Customer Favorites: Cook and prepare hot and cold menu items accurately and efficiently, including made-to-order items and Grille Express selections.
• Serve Up Great Service: Provide friendly, helpful service and make sure customers have a great experience.
• Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly clean equipment and food-preparation areas.
• Follow Food Safety Standards: Properly prepare, handle, and store food while following health and safety requirements.
• Keep Things Ready: Complete food prep, restock supplies, and keep the Grille ready to serve customers throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Previous retail, restaurant, or food service experience is preferred, but not required. We’ll train the right person!
