Job summary

El Pollo Loco, Inc. is seeking a Grill Master to prepare and cook grilled and hot items, following flame-grilled standards to deliver a best-in-class guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
• Food handler certification obtained promptly upon hire as per EPL policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, marinate, season, and cook chicken and other proteins following company standards.
• Receive orders and arrange proteins for proper presentation.
• Monitor holding times and ensure product quality meets standards.
• Ensure cooked proteins are at proper serving temperatures.
• Inspect raw proteins for quality before marinating or grilling.
• Clean and sanitize all work areas and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
