Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is hiring a Restaurant Cook to oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department across Food Production, Grill, Fryer and related duties at our Rio Rancho location. The role involves cooking, portioning, dressing and packaging orders, while maintaining quality standards and station cleanliness.

Candidates should be able to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays, follow directions, and demonstrate basic math/reading skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to follow directions and adhere to appearance/hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of the restaurant/retail environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet quality standards.
• Operate grill, fryer and other stations as assigned.
• Portion, dress and package items for order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Assist with stocking, labeling and prep tasks as needed.
