Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a restaurant Cook to oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department, including Food Production, Grill, and Fryer stations. You will prepare and cook orders to meet quality standards and ensure proper portioning and presentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to follow directions and maintain hygiene standards.
• Effective communication and basic math/reading skills.
• Willingness to cross-train on all stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet product quality standards.
• Food preparation and portioning.
• Cook on the grill and operate the fry station.
• Dress items to order and check quality before packaging.
• Package menu items and ensure consistency in presentation.
• Clean the kitchen, dispose of trash, mop, sweep and sanitize areas.
