Job summary

Whiskey Cake - La Cantera in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Line Cook to prepare dishes according to recipes and timing. You will work under the Chef de Cuisine to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation, while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and adhering to health regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand kitchen tickets.
• Stand for long periods; lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to prescribed methods and recipes.
• Follow and maintain outlined cook times for all prepared items.
• Maintain the highest level of food quality.
• Receive and store all products according to local health regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and work environment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain certification.
• Operate and use all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and understand tickets, including modifications.
