Job summary

CC Holdings is hiring full-time and part-time grill cooks for the IGC Cafe in the Indiana Government Center. Shifts run Monday–Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with weekends and holidays closed.

Qualifications

• Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to grooming standards.
• Prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows portion control and presentation specifications as set by café.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift.
• Cleans and maintains station with safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance.
• Ensure quality and safety of food by performing sanitary measures including cleaning and proper storage.
• Work at an efficient and consistent pace.
• Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, sanitation, and safe handling.

The Grill cook is responsible for preparing food and serving customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided. The Grill cook must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively. The Grill cook must be prepared to work as a team member in a dynamic workplace, follow all safety and sanitation procedures, follow food storage procedures, and have an excellent knowledge of customer service.
