Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with standards and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Take orders, prepare items requiring short prep, complete orders from steam tables, and serve customers at multiple stations.
• Serve customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket-collection procedures and maintain records during service.
• Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper temperatures, and portion control.
• Transport food safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store foods properly following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information to supervisor.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Perform duties safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
