Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time GRILL COOK positions.

Location: 285 Old Westport Road, North Dartmouth, MA 02747. Online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serve customers efficiently and warmly, ensuring food is at correct temperature and presented attractively; taste all prepared items as applicable.
• Follow established ticket-collection procedures and maintain records for the area during service.
• Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Transport pans, kettles and trays of food safely between workstations, stove and refrigerator; comply with safety standards.
• Store foods according to procedures, including wrapping, dating and rotation for safety.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Address customer concerns and report relevant information to supervisor; attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Perform duties safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior grill cook experience.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Full time schedule; Days and hours may vary, including weekdays and weekends; AM and PM shifts with a flexible schedule. More details upon interview.
• Compensation: $18.00 per hour; this is a union position.
