Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time Grill Cook position at Atrium Health Union, Matthews, NC. The schedule is full-time, with days varying from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. Prior cook experience is preferred but not required. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The Grill Cook prepares food and serves customers at the grill station, ensuring high-quality food service in compliance with standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serve food efficiently and courteously, ensuring proper temperature, attractiveness, and taste.
• Use ticket-collection procedures and maintain records.
• Follow approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Transport food items safely between workstations.
• Store foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Address customer concerns and report issues to supervisors.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Foster good relationships with coworkers and management.
• Perform job safely and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
