We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position.

Location: EMD Millipore Danver - 17 Cherry Hill Drive, Danvers, MA 01923. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior line cook experience preferred.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station, ensuring high-quality food service in accordance with standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses ticket-collection procedures during service; responsible for records during service periods.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
5. Carries pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Stores foods properly, following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
7. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
