+ We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position.

+ Location: MetLife Aurora - 177 South Commons Drive, Aurora, IL 60504. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Previous grill cooking experience is preferred.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station, ensuring high-quality food service in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short preparation time, completes orders from steam tables, and serves at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket-collection procedures; responsible for records during service periods.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
5. Transfers food safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Stores foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
8. Addresses customer concerns and reports relevant issues to supervisors.
9. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
10. Maintains positive relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
