Queen’s Price Chopper – Grill Cook/Cook Position

Full-Time or Part-Time. The primary purpose of the Grill Cook/Cook is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. The Deli Clerk is to establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. The Grill Cook/Cook is to prepare ingredients, inform waitstaff when orders are ready and cleaning the grill after each shift. You will monitor inventory to ensure that you have sufficient supplies at all times. Streamline work from back of house to front of house.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Observe all store rules and company policies.
  • Maintain a neat, well groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.
  • Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service.
  • Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy.
  • Prepares foods to the specifications of the customer.
  • Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate customers with allergies or specific diet concerns.
  • Acts as a liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature.
  • Operates various kitchen appliances such as a blender, oven and grill.
  • Assists other cooks during the food assembly process.
  • Estimates expected food consumption and organizes preparation.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements:
