Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Grill Cook to prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will ensure high-quality food and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires knowledge of grilling techniques, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and collaboration with kitchen staff to deliver timely service. Prior grill cook experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous grill cook experience in a high-volume restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables for grilling according to recipes.
• Operate gas or charcoal grills with proper temperature control and timing.
• Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure quality.
• Adhere to food safety, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely order preparation with good presentation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient workflow during peak hours.
• Clean and maintain grilling equipment and report issues.
• Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to uphold standards.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and reporting shortages.
• Work with the kitchen team to maintain a positive environment.
