Job summary

Stoby's Restaurant in Conway, AR is seeking a dependable Grill/Line Cook to join our cozy, family-friendly diner. You will grill breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, keep grill stations clean, and work with the kitchen and waitstaff to deliver orders on time.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner items include eggs, burgers, pancakes, and steaks; training provided if needed. We offer flexible scheduling, free or discounted meals during shifts, room for growth, and a friendly, supportive team atmosphere

Qualifications

Previous grill/line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred, but training may be provided.
Experience operating grills, fryers, ovens, and related equipment.
Strong time management and ability to multitask under pressure.
ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Cook meals on grill for breakfast, lunch, and dinner items such as eggs, pancakes, burgers, and steaks.
Ensure food is cooked to order and meets quality standards.
Work efficiently during high-volume periods, maintaining speed and accuracy.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
Collaborate with kitchen team and waitstaff to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain a clean, organized grill station and assist with overall kitchen cleanliness.
Monitor inventory of grill-related ingredients and report needs to kitchen manager.
Handle customer requests and special orders with a positive attitude.
