Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring for grill cook positions at 5353 Parkside Drive, Jupiter, FL 33458. Online applications only. Schedule may vary; full-time and part-time hours will be discussed during interview.

Requirements: Prior grill cooking experience required. Pay range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour. Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with applicable standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders and completes orders from steam tables, serving customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers efficiently and friendly manner following established steps of service, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Uses ticket-collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
