Job summary

Compass Group USA's campus dining team in Fitchburg, MA is hiring a full-time Grill Cook for a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday. The role focuses on grilling, breakfast and lunch items, omelets, and timely service.

You'll prepare food to standards, maintain cleanliness, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality meals to students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with breakfast and lunch cooking, sautéing and omelets.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Serves food efficiently and maintains proper temperatures and portion control.
• Uses standard recipes and production standards to ensure quality.
• Keeps work areas clean and sanitized; follows safety standards.
• Assists in maintaining records from service periods and completes duties as assigned.
