Job summary

Compass Group welcomes applicants for the Grill Cook position at Canteen in Collierville, TN. The role prepares food at the grill station, serves customers, and ensures food safety and proper temperatures during service.

The schedule is full-time, 5:30 am to 1:30 pm, with a $17.50–$18.50 hourly pay range and a $500 quarterly bonus opportunity. Previous breakfast and lunch cooking experience is required to join our team and provide great customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, cooking breakfast and lunch experience required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service meeting outlined standards.
• Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Tastes all prepared food items.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
